So why has the thread been locked?

you post comments such as" Amazing isn't it, wheres freedom of speech then " and then the thread is suddenly locked?

can you please give a PUBLIC explaination for this?

I locked it because i thought it could get out of hand and going completely off topic (nothing new their lol), what was wrong with my comments then?

you locked the thread without a decent explaination. Your comments mention "freedom of speech", but i have to start a new thread to reply?

Some people wanted to take the thread seriously, others did not.

It seems as though a small minority are trying to drive a wedge in between what the club has been trying to achieve for years?

I have nothing against peoples opinions or comments if they are structured accurately and fairly!

I will find out if COL2 is banned from the other site and for what reason...and i will post my findings.!

I just went onto the 3 page meet page that Pele started ( you all remember her, you know the woman that has done more for this club than the rest of you whinging, moaning back stabbing ba5tard5) and I noticed its still locked so im on here to put my comments forward.

1. I thought that Granby had stepped down as KS king? but still seems to pull many strings...and moderates when he feels its not going right

2. Yes there is a new website and if you dont know the history of the club then shut the f**k up with your pointless bitchy comments (you know who)

3. The idea of having a website/forum (whatever you call it) is to save texting everyone like in the old days.

4. There will always be freedom of speech (Its a fundamental human right, look it up) although some will always disagree

5. j-k has been a part of this club for a long time and deserves more respect for his comments.

6. Col you seem to be very vocal on the forum, I would like to see you run the club better as you seem to portray you can.

7. I know im ruffling feathers but I dont care, im ready to give up due to the negativity (even though those that are negative will always say they want it to work, obviously the terms do not suit them)

8. This may be my last post as I will either be banned or ill decide not to bother even checking this site, who knows???

I am a big part of the few that really want this club to work but if you dont. then feel free to do one and start your own club, just remember that due to a certain individuals generosity there is not much left availabe for Kent scooby type sites plus it will cost YOU money and I cant see that happening.

From now on im leaving the bitching to this site and im going to post on www.kentscoobies.co.uk

It was Regional organiser but i quite like king , i still have a interest in this forum and will moderate (which isn't very often) when i fell it's best

Yes most of us do know the history of KS, as for bitchy comments well that was one of the reasons i locked the thread in the first place as they normally descend that way and i wanted to stop it before it starts

Why would you be banned, you've said what you wanted and thats fine, you've been a long standing member and it would be a shame to see you leave

Most of us want the same thing and thats to have a club that is a fun place to be whether it be kentsccobies.co.uk or the SIDC, there is no place for bitchiness on either site and i will continue to moderate the SIDC as i'm sure you will kentscoobies.co.uk

i for one did not say i dont respect anyone including j-k & thanks to j-k for sorting out why i was banned

& for your comment about me running a club? just to let you know i dont want to run a club,

but i have suggested on sidc to a moderator that i would help as much as i can, with some of the

local events on here, & i will suggest fun days out from time to time

It seems to me that the majority of people on here want to try and get along.

There are a few individuals who come along , stir up a hornets nest and then leave the thread.

These individuals may think they are just posting to raise a laugh, but its a forum and wriiten comments can be intrepreted very differently to spoken ones.

I would suggest that if everybody WANTS to get on, and POTENTIALLY move forward, we all think seriously about our comments before posting. And yes that means me also.

As a group , i think everybody needs to get together as one and bash heads until it is resolved, otherwise this will just continue in one way or another...

Feedback would be appreciated.

All I keep hearing is "learn the history of Kent Scoobies" etc, and I for one am not really that interested. I'm more concerned with where the club is going than where it's been. I know how the club looked and operated when I first joined, and I know who took on the responsibilities for organising the meets and events. Since Granby has left no-one seems to have taken on these responsibilities, there appears to be no kent scooby presence at the forthcoming BHP jap show.

I originally posted something complaining about certain people deliberately trying to stir up unrest. But the more I thought on i the more I just do not get WHAT THE PROBLEM IS???

KentScoobies is being given its own forum, to be run by its own members who will be elected by all the other KentScoobies members?

Can anyone explain to me how this is a bad thing? And WHY certain people are so insistent that this is some attempt to take control (control of what - specifically??).

I would really like to know, if you can put it in ONE sentence, WHAT is actually wrong with this idea?

Hopefully, we can all move on when people realise they are being given something good and not being sold snakeoil.

People are complaining that no-one is organising meets, clothes, or other events and nobody know whats going on.

But as soon as we take notice and start organising the club so that there will ultimately be a member respnsible for everything - its complaints again???

Anyway, you did not comment on why (for you personally) a new website is a bad idea??
