kennyuk300 Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 (edited) Hi all wondering if anyone has got any mounting bolts for a set of front brembo calipers ?I just tried to fit one to see if my wheels would clear them but the four pot mounting bolts are a different thread while i am here where is the best place to get spacers if they don't. Thank you. Cheers Kenny Edited August 2, 2009 by kennyuk300
jamesm Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Mine didn't come with mounting bolts and ended up getting them from the dealers. Was something silly like £7 per bolt though!

Turned out the bolts AS performance had supplied to him weren't for Brembos. Ended up going to the dealers to make sure I got the right ones. Having said that Halleys were a complete waste of time as they didn't have a clue. Went to Grieves in the end who couldn't have been more helpful in sorting me out with the right parts .
arch Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Just buy 4 M12X1.5 high tensile bolts from ebay. assuming that is the correct size it sounds about right but I havnt had time to check, and then cut them to size. It will cost about £4.

x444wrx Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Thanks John ,If it's giong to go wrong it will go wrong for me Cheers Kenny Kenny ive got a set of rear gold brembo calipers lying in the garage somewhere mate and i know there are a set of 4 bolts that my mate Croc cut down to fit when were were attempting the rear brakes fit to my car. i will go up the now and see if i can find them,im presuming they will be the same bolt size as the fronts were, i know they deffo fit wrx mount and thread size as we had the caliper mounted but the disc's i had were about 10mm short in diameter and i didnt want to risk it as the car would probably want to tear them off!!!!!!! Im heading down to the meet on thurs now there's minimum chance of being harrassed by the police and vosa, if they are not long enough coz they were cut for the rear calipers i'll go and bug Croc for 4 full lenghth ones for you pal,i'll keep you updated incase you dont get any in the meantime!!

My first reaction is the rear caliper bolts will be smaller. Interesting to see the outcome here.
