I'll be changing the ignition leads on a MY00 uk turbo, I'm looking at magnecor ones, what's the difference between 8mm and 8.5mm etc apart from the obvious 0.5mm before anyone cares to point that out :rolleyes:

It's not just any old 0.5mm it's 0.25mm each side you know! :thumbup:

The extra 0.5 in diameter once squared and multipled by 3.14 actually works out to a reasonable increase in the amount of conductive material the coil pack has to pass the current through.

Is there a price difference? If so by the cheap ones unless you're going to be running MEGA boost and need to run a lot of current to stop the spark being blown out.

Its to do with electronic principal that one strand of wire can only carry 0.5 Amp so the thicker the wire the more individaul strands of wire inside therefore the more Amps it can carry. Impressed myself that time :thumbup:
