Polished Bliss are from Aberdeen, one of the best in the business but pricey!!

Cheers frank,

Was just on their website, very pricey.

Im not looking to spend quite that much but what is the rough going rate?

Thing is a detail ain't a normal valet, its takes hours and hours, a lot of skill to do properly and some pretty expensive products.

Costs usually depend on what you want done and what products are used

Also believe this guy is worth a look in your area, www.detailecosse.co.uk (Gav I think his name is). No idea of costs etc but you can check it out and/or call him.

Agree with Frank, might look expensive (and yes pb are but they are pretty good!!) but if a detail is done properly there's a lot more involved than people realise.

Anyone armed with a bucket, sponge, fairy liquid, some cheap polish and a few rags can make a car look shiny from a distance and call it a valet.....but no way would I let anyone anywhere near any of my cars with a sponge as scratch/swirls inflicted spreading the grit/dirt about, fairy liquid strips previous protection off, cheap polish won't stay on long and rags can also inflict paint issues - here endeth the lesson  .

Is it just me or are more people wanting cleaner cars at the moment - is it the weather bringing this on ?? Like it !

Can't recommend PB highly enough.

I stick the car in for a protection detail (let them do their magic) and maintenance then on is is simple even for a ex car wash user like myself

A couple of our cars after a detail.

Eck,

What was the overall cost?

somewhere in the region of £450?

Looks like everyone including myself wants a super shiny car to go with the weather

Cheers for the feedback guys

You could also try AJ AUTO DETAILING. The guy is mobile. Can either do it at your house and he will do it under a gazebo on the street but he prefers car to be dropped off at Checkpoint in the City Centre where he prefers to do the detailing.

You dont get better than Polished Bliss tho

Cost was just over £300 a car if my memory is correct, each car was in for a day.

You get what you pay for IMHO.

Agreed - once you consider the work that Clark put into getting the car looking as they do................. its actually amazing value for money.

I have no hesitation in recommending him VERY HIGHLY ( Mine and the wifes cars will be having the PB treatment this summer)

they are very good and very in demand. Was in getting a few things a couple weeks ago and its atleast 3 months before you'll get the car done.

I also know a couple of guys who are very, very good at detailing work and insanely well priced. Send me a PM if you want to know more mate
