I am from Yeovil and looking for some exhaust advice before a remap, any pointers on something MOT friendly but not mega loud i would be most grateful, i was advised to get the Milltek system but at £987 its too much for me

I decided to give the engine bay a good bit of elbow grease as well as the previous owner wasnt that bothered by the looks of it:

very nice mate................there is someone in Yeovil who has done work on my car and he is very good.

His log on is Petenofear and he always has a number of Subarus either working on or breaking

By the way get a Nur Spec............well loud.............anyone on SW Area will tell you how loud mine is

Nice engine mate.

Watch it with ED he'll always say nur spec but tbh it epic fails your "not mega loud" stipulation.

Hayward and Scott or Roger Clark Motorsport centre and back section arent too loud but give a decent 10-15 bhp without a remap.

I've got a miltek on my new scooby and my neighbours love it as it's not loud at all... Well until you really open it up then it gives a nice sound but general driving and on tick over you can notice it but it's not mental loud.

However on the classic I've got a full JapSpeed exhaust and that's a different story. But does sound lovely, not as loud as Ed's but don't think it's too far behind :D

which MIlltek did you go for as the ones i have seen are uber bucks, thanks for all the comments and suggestions but if it is loud i might as well put my house on the market lol
