actionslax Posted May 31, 2009 Author Posted May 31, 2009 When i did a little job respraying i just went to halfrauds to get the paint. did the job ok! Nice one, will head there tomorrow. Popped in to my local branch the other day and they didn't seem to have any colour codes for S which I thought was odd.
marky.t.s Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 i take it its the orange wedges youre talking about on a classic ? i gave them a rub down with fine sandpaper and sprayed them with matt black Halfords paint,i think this looks better what with the black grille and matte black area at the radiator under the number plate,if you get my drift.I take it youre colour coding then?

StewartyBoy Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 (edited) Heres how mine were. I painted them silver and blackened out the indicators. The indictators being black made it look like there was just a gap there. Edited June 2, 2009 by StewartyBoy
actionslax Posted June 2, 2009 Author Posted June 2, 2009 Nice, they defo look better in silver! Your number plate that you got there. How do you get it down to that size? That's another on my list of things to do.
StewartyBoy Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 (edited) Ive a friend of a friend who makes em. Aint strictly legal. Drop me a PM if you want one made up, and I'll post it off to you. Edited June 2, 2009 by StewartyBoy
paulcoleman Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) Nice job! Begs the question though, why make them bloody orange in the first place? Must get round to sorting mine out. Edited June 19, 2009 by paulcoleman
