Corner Weighting - Where?

Anybody know where to get this done in Scotland? Spoken to CLCM and ProGrip but neither can do it. :P

Thanks, Neil

If they don't do it - is it necessary? Not heard of many people doing it and there are plenty of track cars on here :P Maybe someone who runs a track car could point you in the right direction? AWD/AndyF/Hypertech et al?

Found this on another forum:

Having done quite a bit of digging about this and finding not alot of info out about I though I would post a thread on this to help out future searchers for info on this.

Firstly, the two people I spoke to about this both asked the same questions, what breaks do you have and how much track experience do you have. Was very interesting that the pro's obviously see these as being way more important things.

So, anyway

1. You will find this very difficult to find out about even on dedicated track day forums.

So what I know so far.

You will have to have your bushes in the suspension components refreshed before thinking about this.

A coilover set up fitted prior to having this done.

Be prepared to be running a silly ride height, as this only takes into account the maximum handling capabilities of the car not the look.

From speaking to a motorsport company it is WAY more beneficial on a FWD car than it is on a RWD/4WD.

Not a lot of info yet on this but will update it as I find out more.

There is some very complicated adjustments etc etc to get this right, make sure you speak to the guys first before committing to getting them to sort this out. Previous knowledge of the car manufacturer would be a massive benefit as well.

Hope this helps.

Damn, I've been spotted! :P

Seriously, thanks for the info. I'll give Kenneth Brown a call to discuss.
