Still waiting to get it done. I got the cash off the girl, but going to put the car in when I'm on holiday week when I don't really need the it. That seems like a decent price for the refurb. I got mine done 18months ago, and you wouldn't belive the state they are in. The laquer is falling off in huge chunks, bubbling up everywhere. Joke man. The wheels look like they're 10 years old. Won't be going back there.
kennyuk300 Posted March 28, 2009 Author Posted March 28, 2009 Looking good. Must be pleased to have it back. Sure am mate at least i can get to some meets now cheers kenny
mystery machine Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 ThanksWas getting it repaired after accident What was the damage after the crash? (I'm guessing there was another thread about this, but my memory is gash). Was it off the road for long? Tam. P.S. I don't get the bug-haters - there are so many great examples posted on this site - e.g. yours, Wulsey's and Shelly's (now that the ironing board is history)... no accounting for taste, I 'spose

thewelsho Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 P.S. I don't get the bug-haters - there are so many great examples posted on this site Yeah, I agree with that. The Bugs do take a bit of a slagging, but with one or two subtle mods, these cars look as good as any of the other models and perhaps more agressive.
empty_heed Posted March 28, 2009 Posted March 28, 2009 looking good & back in time for thursdays meet
