Anyone Know This Car

A friend bought an E36 325i from them and had nothing but bother with it... so they swapped it for a MY95 WRX Wagon that he drove around for a few months then piled a few mods on, probably running c330bhp and it went fine like that for a further 6-9 months until the engine started to pass quite a bit of oil and he traded it in.

Have heard a lot of stories about their cars, if you really know what you're looking at and are prepared to go over everything properly then you might get a decent car for decent money... but going by the stories, its a bit of a minefield for the un-prepared.

Cheers,

If its that cheap, at that garage it really is ****ed. Stay away from 1st choice, its owned by one of Glasgows crime families. It supplies crappy cars at overated prices and like I said, if that 3 door STi is cheap, you have to ask what the hell is up with it.

Ive had 1st hand experience with them, as well as good friends of mine.

You have been warned

stay away from 1st choice pal. my mate work there and told me some of the horror storys that were happening. lets just say the mileage isnt what it should be :(

i've seen this car upclose and its in some nick. chips, scratches, alloys are dented also.

I would need to disagree with you mate, this car has a 2.2 engine and it was just recently rebuilt by a well known scooby tuners in the area car runs sweet and as i see it and hear it 5 days out of 7 i think i have the right to comment.

Yes ok the paint isnt in the best condition and it needs a good polishing but for a track car it will shift and give the driver a smile on his face IMHO

first of all First Choice have made an ass of that advert.

2nd First Choice dont own this car my boss does.

yes the paint could be doing with tlc and as for the wheels thay are in good nick and not dented.

i have driven this car many times and for a track car its well set up for it.

some people open there mouths and let there belly rumble

wullie.

well here goes my belly or what ever. I have had a look at said car with a very good mechanic. who told me staight to gie it a body swerve. He thinks the car needs hefty work on both the engine and the body i can agree on the body of it. as for the engine it had a funny knock from it that we thought was the big ends on there road ootand its an import that hasnt saw any weather treatment and not 100% on if its straight or not

but at the end of the day its your money just be wise and patient with it its also a four door and not two like someone has said

Quick Fit??

Also for less than that you could have my 95 sti2. Which has some goodies on it already to help it on track.

They've got a Bugeye STi in there that has had the front Brembos robbed (still got rears) and replaced with stock WRX 4-pots, the STi wheels changed for WRX wheels, the rear spoiler is also low level now too... I'm pretty sure the car was a Prodrive Style model as its got the front bumper which is rare as rocking horse sh@t, damn shame actually.
