grantr Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 While the car was reasonably clean I decided to dust off the DSLR and try and finally get a few half decent shots of it, hope you like. Hoping to go back and try and get the shots with the castle in the back in the dark at some point. Need to get the rear windows tinted and want to get the Prodrive grille on at some point. Toying with the idea of putting full graphics on it put not sold totally on that one yet! Need to get a polarising filter for photographing it as well, bit too much glare on the pics.
windy1945 Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 nice pictures mate, like the wheels, No graphics looks good the way it is (only my opinion )no a fan of graphics
sti_steve Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Nice pics mate, I've got his twin in Edinburgh too. If I see you I will give a wave!
colzo Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Nice motor mate. I would also say no to graphics as IMO less is more.
tallmansand Posted March 7, 2009 Posted March 7, 2009 Nice motor mate. I would also say no to graphics as IMO less is more. i,m busy takin the graphics off mine, car looks a lot better clean,
thewelsho Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Was thinking about getting my wheels done in this colour but wasn't sure how it would look on a blue car. I think it actaully goes pretty well, makes a wee change from the gold. As for graphics. not everyone's taste, granted but some tasteful and subtle graphics is a really cheap way of making your individual. Less IS more, but none is less... if you see what I mean Anyhoo, the car looks good.
buffalo Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 nice pics, i'd be buying a splitter first tho before you worry bout graphics. i keep toying with getting a wrap but i'm sure once i get it i'll want it off. its swings and roundabouts
grantr Posted March 8, 2009 Author Posted March 8, 2009 Cheers for the comments guys. I'd love to put a splitter on the car but I doubt I have the clearance on my drive to add one. Steep up and over onto the road, its tight on the front end as it is. Might leave the idea of the graphics for now. Any recommendations on where to get decent window tinting done near Edinburgh?
oobster Posted March 8, 2009 Posted March 8, 2009 Very nice car - think you need to straighten up the rear offside mudflap a bit though! Also not a fan of graphics - Magma in Bathgate are good at window tinting but I believe the guy now does it out of his house rather than the unit he used to have. I think he still has the same number though - 01506 632766. Other than that I think Gus knows a guy over Falkirk way who does a decent job of tinting windows.
