Sorry Andrew no pics mate the garage have to take their own for warranty claims, but they were flaking & heavily chipped on the both sides of the spokes, center caps were very poor as well so I got new center cap badges made at http://www.domedbadge.co.uk/ cars only covered 7000 mls

I got mine replaced under warranty two weeks ago at Grieves,

Charlie photographed the flaking wheels & sent off a warranty claim to Subaru, got them changed the following week.

Dunc at Hypertech is waiting on replacements as well due to flaking.

My wheels have a couple of small scrapes, I suspect that is why my claim has been rejected, were yours in perfect nick ??

got all 4 alloys replaced today whilst the car was in for a service at S&S. Would like to thank Lorna for all her help. It was the 30k serivec and the car feels a lot better after it. The wheels are a lighter gold colour which is weird but will end up getting them powder coated so not that bothered. Would also like to say thanks for the SIDC discount on my service which Lorna gave me which was a bot of a surprise but a welcome surpirse. also got the seat fixed as it was clunking a bit.

Thanks S&S.

Nice one on the discount especially since your NOT a member! :o;)

Ha! I didn't say you weren't! Chris doesn't have that wee member badge below his name thing, so I was pulling his leg. In 2002 I wouldn't have been able to tell you what a Scooby was!

Edit: Just noticed you don't have the wee "member badge" thing either. I'd get that seen to if I were you :o

Amazingly they hadn't been kerbed, i suspect mine got chipped to bits when we came out from the Mcrae gathering & the polis directed us down a country road newly tarred with millions of loose chippings, you just cringed all the way along it.

I have had 10 new wheels on my 56 plate WRX. Warranty ends later this year, I expect that the latest new wheels will be of the same poor quality as all of the previous ones that Subaru have provided. They have all blistered around the center cap. Why have they not rectified the ongoing problems with these substandard wheels?

Cheers guy's rep from Subaru going to Dumfries thursday to have a look at them.

Mines going to Nobles next week as they want to spend a bit of time with it getting big crack's from front when driving in dip-turn feels as if suspension is bottoming out.
