How do i go about cleaning my K&N Air filter and what do i use to clean it with.

I've never done this before ,is it worth cleaning or am i better buying another one?

Any help appreciated.

I done the one on the RA last year using the K&N cleaning kit from memeory you use the cleaning solution on the filter then give it a right good rinse under the tap and then leave to dry. I left it a couple of days indoors to make sure then re-oil as per the instructions. Make sure you dont over oil it tho :(

As above... Well at least for the Green panel filter anyway... Cleaned my one a few months back using that method and no problems at all got the proper green filter cleaning kit from scoobyworld or ebay or something.. May be the same stuff as for the K&N, wouldn't have though it'd be too different

Cheers for the info.

Will try the dyson first Rich.... :(

Aye don't buy another one, that should do you the life of the car and will therefore save your a few notes when service day comes around :crying:
