nope no difference still both 5x100 pcd only diff might be the offset if they are sti wheels to clear the brembos but even then no probs as long as you stick to 215 to be safe cheers greig

P.S you comin for these tyres this weekend bud?

None at all I used a set of WRX alloys from my 55 plate WRX on my RA for a very short time and they fitted fine no issues at all. They had 215X45X17 tyres :icon_butt:

I think its 05 onwards it changes from 5 x 100 to 5 x 114 or something along those lines. :icon_butt:

Can't speak for the 08 cars but for all new age WRX were 5x100. New Age STI bugeye or 03-04my were 5x100 also, 05 onwards were 5x114.3.

the latest Sti hatches are 114.3 also geo

215s i think. Mine had 215 on as standard. You can go 225 from what i was reading (when i was looking into new tyres) but the handling might be compromised with extra roll in the corners.

Mine are 215's? Did they come in two different widths?

my classic has the bug wheels and i have 225/45's as they were on when i got the wheels (never rub), will be going for 215/40's when it comes to replacing them, mainly due to the extra hight the car now has.

i think you can put pretty much any width of tyre on a wheel, too narrow and the ride is very hard and too wide and you get roll in the corners though.

my mate runs 10.5" wide tyres on his 7.5" wide wheels, on his jeep.
