Its looking like the heavy rain forecast for Sunday may actually be more snow now, obviously I am not expecting people to travel to the meet if the conditions are dangerous, we will play it by ear and see what the day brings.

Was just about to say I'll have to play Sunday by Ear. West Berks have just announced they only have enough salt for 1 more gritting run.

Hopefully will be able to make it

Hi guys, roads are virtually impassable near us as well, we got roughly 18 inches of snow  Wasn't going to be able to make it on sunday anyway, but definitely won't be going anywhere in the scooby for a while :brickwall:

Thanks ever so much guys, but we are ok because Winnie has got an L200 Mitsubishi Animal which can get through the snow which normal cars can't. He had to use his chain saw yesterday to clear the road from fallen trees so he could get down to work :brickwall: He was ferrying people about yesterday up and down the hill to the village, good hearted soul that he is :D:) It is quite a nice atmosphere in the village, everyone out enjoying the snow, lots of people going for walks and speaking to each other, shame it isn't like it all the time, everyone is usually tucked away inside or at work B)

I am glad you are able to enjoy the snow, the L200's are great I spent loads of time in the snow with them back home, the scoob is very capable too the only thing is that it is very light compared to the L200 and that makes the scoob a little more frisky to drive and can take a little getting used to.
