tommo9375 Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Got these bonnet dampers in the last day and finally got round to fitting them and the strut-brace.The dampers are well worth the money.
Guest Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 Looks sweet mate where did you get the dampers from?
tommo9375 Posted January 7, 2009 Author Posted January 7, 2009 A guy on fleabay called 2fast2cool, they were £56 delivered, when they came they didn't have the fixing brackets so after a quick e-mail he sent them the next day.Takes about 15 mins to put them on.

Maxxed_Ross Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 one of the first things on my hit list this year! Were they easy enough to fit? I had a pair on a previous car and it was a total nightmare trying to drill the holes in the right places

I had a pair on a previous car and it was a total nightmare trying to drill the holes in the right places Really easy and no drilling required!!!.You remove the top bolt on the bonnet hinge, and put it back on along with 2 x washers and the fixing plate (in the required hole, there's 3 but its trial/error)and for the bottom you remove the middle bolt thats holding the wing down and replace it with a ball type bolt.Theres a little wire catch on either end of the damper, take it off put dampre in place and re-fit the catches- very easy to install.
