Looking like a good turn up. Hopefully the weather will warm up so I can get her clean for the day, at the moment shes looking a little salty

Andy

Mine likewise, was hoping to give her a clean today but temps not gone above freezing.

Maybe a competition on for the day 'Who's got the dirtest Scooby' bit of an alternative to a show 'n' shine

See you tomorrow

I am hoping that it rains tomorrow so I dont have to wash my black into white scoob

Defo looks like a good turnout.

It'd be nice to have a temp above freezing, no chance of washing the car at the mo without turning the road outside into a skating rink

So it may be a Green & Grey scooby with nice black & gold wheels

Hi all,

Firstly can I say what a great turnout for our first meet, I hope we can keep this up ;)

I spoke to most of you about next months meet and how it would be nice to do something other than the ususal pub meal, so if there is anything that you can think of that we would enjoy doing for next months meet (preferably indoors) post your ideas up and we will make it happen.

Here are a few ideas:

Go Karting

Bowling

Indoor Lazer Quest

Museum Visit

Curry Night

Snowboarding

Skydiving Simulator

etc

I am sure there are loads more that I cannot think of, mabe something that you have done yourself that you think others might enjoy.

I would also like to appologise to all who may have been subject to my underwear through the massive hole that had appeared in the rear of my jeans :) I must of had more to eat than I though ofer the festive period.

Hear are a few pics from todays turnout

As Iain said was great to see a nice turn out today esp after a few low numbers last few months. Hope it continues.

Was good to see some new people, in my case any way.

As for the dirtiest car award.. mmm i think there were a few joint winners there I know who didn't win it....Chris.....

Good to see a cple of Wagons turn up, and great to see Stu and his family +the newborn tho Thanks a feking lot for making my missis Broodie.....!! All I got all afternoon was that ;)

As for next month, as i mentioned to Iain Im game for 10pin bowling tho I know not everyones cup of tea. Curry Night would be cool tho due to areas i feel some would drive some not so some drink some not plus where can we show off the cars :)

Maybe we could include a Curry night with bowling too make a good day of it. Doesnt have to be a late one.

There is an All you can Eat chinese at the back of Bowling place in Kasam ( Oxford ) which is pretty nice at weekends, and can be booked so places a gaurentee!!

Laters

you lay off those sundaes mr D!!!

We all had sundaes, they was free... :)

I must add, I was impressed with the niceness of the guy who served us today. He remembered us ( esp Iain and his previous Chicken orders...!!) was really good and friendly. Sorted an area out for us and was Patient and made sure we got served all together. Big Clap for him and the Harvester.

My opinon anyways

Looks like a great turnout guys - Sorry we couldn't make this one. As to suggestions for next month, bowling would be good, curry night sounds great, ice skating not so good for winnie with his hip unless we want an ambulance on standby!! :);) But we are up for anything guys, if everyone wants to go iceskating that's fine, we can watch and laugh and take photos of you lot falling on your bums :) !!

Had a cracking time as ever and was really good to see everyone... feels like we've been in limbo since late last year what with the move and baby arriving. The kids where chuffed to bits that they managed to get an ice cream out of it too!

The photos look good Iain, not sure why but mine actually looks shiny, must be a trick of the light methinks! :)

As for next month, bowling + curry/Chinese sounds good, was a real laugh last time despite getting beaten by a 4yr old! ;) Saying that, I'm up for anything... I though skydiving simulators where only in the films, never knew you could actually do it!!!!! That looks awesome albeit pricey! I know they're outdoors but has anyone thought about zorbing or mountain boarding? Both are a right laugh especially in the mud!!!

Stu

Oooh, Andy... you know you love it really mate! B) She'll be along again no doubt, you can have her for a bit next time! :)
