am contemplating weather or not to give my scoob away have had nothing but bother the 2 years i have owned it. the car has been of the road 9 months and still getting damaged with tossers the misses says the same and cant be a***d with trying to sell it

it,s of the road due to me being banned for 1 year but that is up soon the car need a clutch, service, brakes/discs all round,and a respray

Don't give away man, at the very least break it if you're not willing to keep it. That way you will get something for it.

To be honest, it could make a decent wee winter project for you if its a solid enough base. It sounds like its mostly 'bolt ons' that it needs, plus a re-spray... its not a massive amount of work involved (as I guess you wouldn't be doing the re-spray).

We all have bad luck with cars, chin up and get sorted bit at a time over the winter or at least trade in for a STI

or sell it and buy mine, problem solved

I can fully sympathise with the way youre feeling the now mate, my scoobs been off the road since january, due to various house ree-locations(long story) and the lack of finances that go with it.Put it into a local garage about 2 months ago for new discs/pads, a cat d/pipe an an m.o.t, they discovered both hubs/bearings were fubar as well so with the bill sitting at over 1k plus more to come, ive been thinking is it all woth it? BUT... i love my car and am going to persevere and get it back on the road... Dont give up on it mate.

none taken m8 and just to clarify most people live by laws i don,t as for my car i still drive it try this law.

In Scotland it is against the law to be drunk in possession of a cow.
