marky.t.s Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 cool pics Neil,i'd like to see a colour version of the first one though,i think red light trails look amazing.
scoobyiain Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 Great pics Neil, well 75% of them. Don't like the 2nd one, think it would look better if you did not see the lights shining on the road/grass. IMHO of course
st3ph3n Posted November 2, 2008 Posted November 2, 2008 The last one is marketing quality Neil. Lovely.
grantr Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 Cheers folks! I need to be more patient next time, these were pretty rushed as my dinner was cooking The second one isn't that great looking at it again, but I had to run quite a bit along the road to get the shot (because of the zoom I had on), and was concerned other cars would come along the road. I'd be very interested in what equipment/settings you used to get shots like that, very impressive.
pmacFTO Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 (edited) nice pics m8y I did a similar shot on the A89 a while back - light trails always look cool Excellent processing too, more to the point. Edited November 3, 2008 by pmacFTO
fai17 Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 your photo skill is top notch......can you please get some pics of me on KH next year when my car will be ready again?
mystery machine Posted November 3, 2008 Posted November 3, 2008 yayyy im not the only one who dosent chamois it to death then I'll join the chamois sceptics' club The only time I chamois a car is prior to polishing, when I want to make sure that every last drop of moisture has been removed. I honestly believe chamois leathers remove the paintwork's shine over time. My two previous cars rarely saw a chamois and the results speak for themselves - paintwork kept a great shine despite minimal polishing (and I really do mean minimal - the only time my previous car saw polish was after a bodywork repair for accident damage caused by another driver). The Scooby will see more polish than the previous two motors because WR blue makes it worthwhile Honestly, I feel like a teenage/twenty-something sad kint all over again
