prodrive tony
Got my Brembo's on, refurbed, repainted and with new discs and pads. Did'nt fit braided hoses yet as there seized and I was only going to damage metal brake pipes, not good. Don't feel to much different to be honest??' granby
You will feel the difference when you have to use them hard definitely fit braided hoses as they also make a difference when you brake hard as you will have a much firmer pedal Link to comment
prodrive tony
Yeah did'nt use them in anger, my problem with the originals were heat and fade after 2 quick corners!! I'm sure this wont happen now. I agree hoses a must, will just pay someone else to have the grief. Link to comment

T123VOR
Looking good Tony A good mod to do so I've heard on a classic- but you'll need the braided hoses and uprated fluid to get the most from them Link to comment
prodrive tony
I used Brembo discs and flushed with Dot 4 as advised. What fluid do people recommend? Link to comment
fudge
Granby is right, you should notice a difference when you brake hard. I have just had AP 6 pots / 355 on front and and 4 pot 320 on rear. What I have noticed more than anything is high speed braking. Braking hard at 50mph is the same as braking hard at 150mph. They are awesome at high speed with no twitching, vibration or anything. Link to comment

scoobypaul
i'm sure it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference (and maybe you've done it on purpose) but shouldn't the callipers be the other way round? my nearside has the writing round the other way not trying to be an ar5e just surprised that you're not noticing a lot of difference over the subaru 2 pots, and wondered if it would make a difference being the other way round?? i noticed a big difference between the brembos and my old scooby 4 pots and that had ds2500's on. saying that, the braided lines on the sti really did make a difference though. maybe that's all it needs Edited September 23, 2008 by hoskib Link to comment
