A Wee Polish And A Few Bits More!

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Well, been working on getting a few wee bits n pieces for the RA over the last 3 weeks and after Blue Dragon gave the car a detail at the weekend I went about fitting them.

Sti rear lights and exhaust you know about but got me old mate Stevie to make up a few graphics for me. Bought some foglight covers and played about a bit with some ideas and put everything on this week.

Also took the original badge off and sanded back the paint and painted it red to match the colour scheme

Next job is to powdercoat the wheels either gunmetal or white to match the car

Thoughts/comments?

Cheers Guys

What do you think about the wheels? Leave gold? powdercoat white or gunmetal/graphite? They are in MINT condition as Iain who had the car before had them powdercoated just before I bought it but fancy the idea of white (colour coded) or gunmetal/graphite.

Scoobzie. Yeah, the tinted windows in on the list somewhere

I quite like that.....although room for one or two more stickers without it looking too much perhaps ? Is the red along the side a different shade, maybe just the way it's came out on the pics or there's a reflection??

Quite an obvious personal touch going on there, like that.

Maybe change the wheel colour - not red before that's suggested !

Reds are all the same mate  . Just taken before dusk so the pics aint the best

Just a starter with the graphics as I wanted to see how it looked before I did any more. Wheels are planned to get coded but yer right RED is NOT going to happen

Thanks for the comments

Excellent 3 folk say white wheels  thats what I was thinking.

I tried the PFF7's off the leggy (gunmetal) on but i wasnt 100% convinced but thought it might have been the design, white was/is my first choice.

They are actually provisionally booked in to get done next Friday so I can now tell the guy its white

me personally i think gold looks good, im away to powder coat a set of P7`s soon and im going gold, call me old fashioned lol

OK old fashioned  lol, I think it depends on the style of wheel as your OZ's look great in the graphite  but being different I think I'll head for white. Its £150 to change the colour to something else if I dont like them

Gus that looks clas mate,

white wheels

took it apon myself, not the best effort but it looks goooooood

Cheers Craigy

Yip, I'm loving that. They can code them to an exact (or almost) match to the 230 code so should do the trick. Getting the idea tho

Dunc, I had the whites on the 555 and the 300. gave them a good few coats of a wheel protector product (canny mind the name of it  but its in the back of the garage  ) before fitting them and the dirt didnt really stick to them so i'll be going that route again

Very nice, Gus, looks mint after the detail, I really like gunmetal with the white, but seeing you've already decided on white I'm sure it'll look great, just remember to keep 'em clean

Cheers
