Mcrae Gathering - Accom For Sunday 31 Aug?

just wondering how many of us are:

- planning to do the whole weekend for the McRae Gathering

- got the Monday off work

- would like to break up the return journey and stop over somewhere on the Sunday night?

thinking of booking somewhere at Stoke on Trent, as its nice and handy for the M6 and sort of halfway home.

I'll definately need somewhere to rest after the buzz and highs of the weekend

I have Monday off but will either be planning to head all the way home on the Sunday night and have lie in the next day, or if my other half decides to come and keep me company, then we might stay in Banbury on the Sunday night and have a day in the area on Monday, heading home Monday night.

Either way, once on the road, I like to just keep going and will head back up the road in one with a stop for food half way.

B) Carlisle is a fair distance from Warwick...

i'm only thinking about how fit-for-driving I'll be on Sunday evening,

cos we'll have had a long drive on the saturday, drinks that night then

a busy day outdoors on the Sunday where I'll be on my feet most of the day [running around doing organiser-type stuff]

god how girly do I sound lol

My mate and I have taken the Monday off just in case we decide to stop somewhere on the home journey. Kept our options open

I've booked the Monday & Tuesday off work  , as I will need the rest.

I'm planning on just going the whole way home on the Sunday, but will just take it easy and cruise up the road.
