micra_wrc Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 just wondering how many of us are: - planning to do the whole weekend for the McRae Gathering - got the Monday off work - would like to break up the return journey and stop over somewhere on the Sunday night? thinking of booking somewhere at Stoke on Trent, as its nice and handy for the M6 and sort of halfway home. I'll definately need somewhere to rest after the buzz and highs of the weekend
mrtoad Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I have just booked at the same motel at Banbury for the rest before home run
jamesm Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 I have Monday off but will either be planning to head all the way home on the Sunday night and have lie in the next day, or if my other half decides to come and keep me company, then we might stay in Banbury on the Sunday night and have a day in the area on Monday, heading home Monday night. Either way, once on the road, I like to just keep going and will head back up the road in one with a stop for food half way.
