Does it get louder when you accelerate.

I had to get the rear shocks on my 05 STI replaced as they were faulty the guy at the garage said it was a known problem and Subaru had changed the part numbers for these a few times, once they were replaced it was fine. (mine were done under warrenty)

If not at that price id think of upgrading them thats just 4 the sruts i think its costing about £240 a side then the labour on top makes it about £700. would upgrading be better?
