Jolly Green Monster
Were the springs chopped? no.. basically the car had had a big side front impact and the guy sold me the springs and shocks off it.. one shock was dead (bent) and I removed the springs and binned the shocks..I had to angle grind one rear in half to get the spring off as they had sat outside and the top nut was solid They looked original but I dunno.. it was a long while ago and the car was damaged a long while before that and so the car was fairly young when damaged.. no need for spring compressor as the springs just dropped on and plenty of thread through to put the top nut on. Jolly Green Monster
what diffs front and back and what anti-roll bars? is it stepping when on the power or just stepping? if under power then could be handling issue or diff, if all the time then handling issue.. stiffer rear antiroll bar than front makes it more tail happy, usual is to leave front standard and fit a 22mm rear has it been aligned since fitment of suspension? luke_clifton
My car is similar, it will always oversteer on corners. Subaru's are legendary for there understeer, though i've never experianced it with mine. Link to comment
