Cheaper than full set of road tyres after a session of Knockhill !! If you push hard enough.... Having said that, if the weather stays the way it is just now there shouldn't be too much trouble with tyre wear. Could be an entertaining day with lots of slippin' 'n slidin'... AlanG Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 (edited) See it as an opportunity to learn car control in a safe environment! Once you get used to it, you'll start to love it for the fun factor! Edited June 28, 2008 by AlanG

Haha! I went off in the 5th lap of the first run and hadto get pulled out of the kitty litter - what a riddy! Lost my tail pipe in the process

AlanG Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 Haha! I went off in the 5th lap of the first run and hadto get pulled out of the kitty litter - what a riddy! Lost my tail pipe in the process Ahh.. ya must have been gettin' cocky!
stuarted Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 you had a fair bit of mud in the front right wheel/disc! At least nobody can say you weren't trying hard enough!
thewelsho Posted June 28, 2008 Author Posted June 28, 2008 Ahh.. ya must have been gettin' cocky! I did, but that was what lead to my second off - couple of spins; going across the track from one side in the gravel to the ohter side on the grass, then ended up stalled at 90 degrees across the track - silly!
thewelsho Posted June 28, 2008 Author Posted June 28, 2008 you had a fair bit of mud in the front right wheel/disc!At least nobody can say you weren't trying hard enough! Still there - ha! Putting the car in the garage for a bit til I get new pads, then I'll whip the wheels off and give a clean up before replacing the pads - that's my next challenge!
