Recommended Posts

Been looking around for some new front discs and pads but not sure what to get ,anyway went to Hypertech this morning and they suggested ebc discs and redstuff pads coming in at around £250 supplied just not sure what to get?

Any suggestions?

EBC pads aren't to good IMO, i've wrecked red stuff and yellow stuff. Ferrodo DS2500 are the pads to go for and Godspeed brakes will sort you some quality grooved discs that are warrantied even for track use

I just went with blueprint brakes all round, £500 for discs and pads all round

:D you could have had excellent materials for that amount.

dz. as ive said before ds2500 and good new discs of your choice but not ggr ones as they are only 23mm thick when they should be 24mm new. iirc from when i had 4 pots.

Can't remember, that was getting them cheap. But I can find out if you like.

Thats for Newage STI Brakes mind

I didn't realise the Newage STi ones were so different. I wonder how much the full price was... i'm sure i bought a full set of these for my last classic and it was well under £200 for the lot.

Dont paint the calipers! It will attract attention to the state of your wheels! ha ha
