seano Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Just to say a big thanks to Kenny Brown for doing a great job on my car on Thursday.Got a nice Exedy fast road clutch and lightend alloy flywheel fitted. And what a diffrence.Car feals alot better on picking up a bit of speed,The pedal is much better, That may have been due to him sorting out a very seize pivot for the clutch fork!!!!. But it now drives like a normal car lol.The car also had an ap clutch fitted by someone in the past that looks fine but i wanted to go for a lightend flywheel so changed it all, that means iv got a spare good clutch and fly wheel. Also got a service done as well and all at a very good price.Would deffo use him again. His no is 0141 882 6757.and he is just out side Glasgow in Hillington ind est.2min from Braehead.

Glad to hear that you got a noticable difference. I'm going to get a similar thing done next week, but don't know whether to go for a 7kg lightened flywheel or a 5.75kg billet alloy flywheel as I often drive in busy stop start traffic. How do you find idle and how do you find it for stalling on pulling away? Does it need to be re-mapped after a lightened flywheel is fitted?
thewelsho Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 You just reminded me. Kenny was meant to call me back about a gearbox but he forgot and I forgot to call him back if he forgot!
Boydie. Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Kenneth is great, sorted my car out extremely quickly. Didn't know he did servicing and other things aside from alignment!
