You may even get away with putting it in the backbox so you can remove when you want, depending on how it would fit.
Dave K Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 << Have you checked for mayonaise in the oil cap/bubbling in the coolant tank etc? >> Just to add bubbling is not always head gasket. I had it a few times after being away when the car had been idle for a while, air locks etc.
Cret Posted September 20, 2005 Posted September 20, 2005 Cheers Dave - I've reached the conclusion that this should indeed go skinny end forwards and slot into the back of the backbox but I must figure a way to keep it in place. Do they make much difference to the sound? I presume it just works by re-circulating some of the exhaust gas & keeping it in a bit longer. Someone has suggested the extra back pressure may even improve the bottom end a bit & add a little torque? Re - bubbling I've had it sometimes too I must admit and my head gaskets are ok as far as I know...... Any chance of borrowing that IACV solenoid still Dave? Cheers dude!

Boxer23 Posted September 22, 2005 Posted September 22, 2005 I suppose it's obvious where the money for the high petrol prices is going? Brand new 06 car, remap, lots of holidays, trips to Trax, several pairs of 'tasteful' boots....... Business must be good!
heazille Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 << I suppose it's obvious where the money for the high petrol prices is going >> Aye Neil, £8 out of every £10 goes straight to Donald Gelling & the Treasury You only live once and i reckon in 10 years time i wont be able to wear the boots or drive me scooby Ta Ta Richard
