Dave K Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 << Mornin' Dudes & Dudesses How's Sindy? Has anyone heard??? >> Margy rang me last night, she was showing signs of recovery last night when they left her at the vet, so here's hoping for Sindy. Sure Richard will post up some time this morning.
heazille Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Sindy will be home later today, BUT, is still poorly, dazed and not out of the woods yet. However, being at home should be better for her Many Thanks for the kind comments Richard,Margy,Michael & Tracey
blue boy Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 That's Good news Richard hope she continues to improve.
Cret Posted April 9, 2005 Posted April 9, 2005 Glad to hear she seems to be on the bend Richard, that's a horrible & scary thing to happen. Hope all is well soon. Andi - Dave - all bow before the might of the stud remover. I'm sure it was laughing as it twisted the turbo studs out with ease just now. They are all out now, and the manky nuts on the up-pipe didn't really present a problem although I had to get medieval on one of them with a cold chisel & a lump hammer. Didn't even have to fire up the blowtorch! It's going on tomorrow.

heazille Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Afternoon Dudes, Not a bad day & Sindy is a little better Ta Ta Richard & Margy
Cret Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Glad to hear that Richard! Dudes, a second pair of hands (and a jack seeing as mine is out on loan) would be, handy, today but can't get hold of Andi and I haven't got your number Dave. If either of you can help I'm on 463787. Am off out now though to get stuck in!
Cret Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Dudes! Not sweet. Car is running a bit poo after just going out for a test run. I don't think there's a problem with the turbo itself as it seems to spin up ok but the car is really holding back and not delivering the goods. The boost is only getting to around 10psi in general despite replacing the split pipe, although occasionally it goes a bit higher and the car feels like it's about to go properly then it settles down again. No CEL or anything but something is very definitely wrong and it wasn't doing this yesterday. Can't think what could be up though. Huge flat spot if I punch the pedal from a slow steady cruise too. I think it might relate to that FSE regulator, possibly I've got the wrong pressure set maybe. It's currently a smidge above 3 bar at idle.
andy_bray Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Sorry about today Jim I forgot to take my moble out with me If at anytime you want a hand Jim dude just pop around ... I went out for a run in the STI to go and meet Alistair McRea..(Not to look at the evos) and Louis got his scooby jacket sighed by the man...
