dooahhdoo Posted February 27, 2004 Posted February 27, 2004 Kristan dude, nope nothing wrong with them but 17's are better! Dave dude. Sweet!
dooahhdoo Posted February 27, 2004 Posted February 27, 2004 boo hoo dudes, watched the Ben-My-Chree leave the bay this morning with my baby on it.
CustomScoobyIOM Posted February 27, 2004 Author Posted February 27, 2004 It will be back better than ever dude!!!
Cret Posted February 27, 2004 Posted February 27, 2004 Fear not dude, it'll be worth the wait I'm sure. And lo, it will radiate sublime sweetness.
CustomScoobyIOM Posted February 27, 2004 Author Posted February 27, 2004 Thinking of selling the Yellow Motor now dudes And modding a WRX again. But properly. Just seems a shame to dis-assemble an alerady fast car.
dooahhdoo Posted February 27, 2004 Posted February 27, 2004 dudes? Where's my car? Do you really want to know? Well, it is on the Ben-my-Chree coming back to the Island, no joke! Colins van lost gears 20 miles away from Heysham, he went by taxi to get the car off the boat with a rope but they wouldn't let him on to get it off. They wouldn't even let a car on there with a towbar take it off. grrrrrrrrrr B@stard steam packet.
Cret Posted February 28, 2004 Posted February 28, 2004 It's mint. Except my head hurts a bit for some reason.....
Boxer23 Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Dude, you were in FINE form last night! I'll take you up on those peanuts some other time..... Sweet!
Cret Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Why cheers dude, sweet to hear it! Ha ha, I forgot about that. I should have learnt to not play that game anymore after breaking a finger last time I had a championship bout.
Boxer23 Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Lol, and those CHEESEBURGERS, man......sweet! Out tonight again, dude?
Cret Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Had a kebab in the end last night. Nah, quiet one in tonight I think. My cambelt idler arrived today so I want to be alive tomorrow to get it lashed on & hopefully find out the fate of the rover. Be that good or bad...... I expect I'll have a few sherbets at home all the same.
enCrypt Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Heh! Nice extra letters on the back of the rangey Cret! I presume thats yours is it?! Spotted when going to the Chinese earlier!
Cret Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 Ha ha! Yeah that's my current beastie, although there's the slim possibility that the scoob might be back alive again tomorrow. Not getting my hopes up too much though..... How did you guess it's my one?! Good choice of chinese too mate. Although dangerously convenient for me!
enCrypt Posted February 29, 2004 Posted February 29, 2004 I remember seeing the Scoob parked around there a lot. My Dad lives on the corner there, and I go to that Chinese all the time...its the greatest!
Cret Posted March 1, 2004 Posted March 1, 2004 Grrr! Still not sure. Have spent all afternoon stood & kneeling on ice trying to get this ****ing cambelt on just right. It's been on & off about 4 times now but either the timing marks simply do not line up correctly, or I just can't get it set up spot on. Seems that each time I can get all the marks lined up pretty much perfectly, until I release the pin from the tensioner, then it all looks out a bit. It'll start up & run fairly roughly but I still don't know if it's knackered or not because the rough running & pops & bangs could very easily be down to the belt not being timed quite to perfection but also might be down to dodgy valves. Either way, there are no horrible crunching/banging/grinding/tapping noises coming from it which is a good thing but I'm just pissed off that I can't seem to get it set up properly. And I'm bloody cold!
