andy_bray Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Nice one Dave dude , I was thinking of getting the 20d , but the 350d is a bit lighter and it has the same 8.2 mega- pix as the 20d..
Cret Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 << Afternoon dudes! << No Grant, still planning on getting them painted although the gold looks better than I thought it might. >> Nice shade of pink would look good Jim? >> Ha ha. Even if I had an STi engine in I wouldn't tolerate pink wheels dude! << << Is that a silver one? >> No jim, its the blue one with No 1 on the doors Ta Ta Richard >> Ahh - yes - seen that a couple of times although for some reason I could have sworn the blue stickered up one I'd seen was a bugeye or blobeye! Must be losing my sight! Saw your post on my forum Richard - thanks very much for the offer - it's very kind of you & Dave to say that and is appreciated. What I will be doing is speaking to the lads to see what kind of thing they want if they do a visit at the same time. I think they'll mainly want to just stay for the rally days but it'd be nice to combine some of the activities I think.

Dave K Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Morning dudes. << Nice one Dave dude , I was thinking of getting the 20d , but the 350d is a bit lighter and it has the same 8.2 mega- pix as the 20d.. >> This is it Andi, as I said when we were watching the rally I couldn?t justify £200 extra for the 20D which is essentially the same camera. But I don?t mind an extra £45, so I thought what the hell.

andrew_field Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Just wondering if anyone one the Island fits alarms. Don't have one at the mo and the central locking on the key buttons doesn't always work. Does anyone know of somewhere that fits them at a decent price or am I better off waiting till I am back across? Cheers

Cheers >> Ian Simms @ White Howe do and fit alarms M8 , but they will be @ a price being on the island .. I had a problem with my alarm on the STI and I took it to Simms and they could not find the folt... If I was you I would wait till you go to ther UK Andy...
dooahhdoo Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 I agree with Andi Andy I asked Sims for a quote for an alarm and they said 499 fitted with total closure and all bits and bobs. Turned out it didnt include anything and the actual alarm unit itself could be bought delivered for 120 quid I went to Wigan on the boat and got a clifford fitted there with built in turbo timer, remote start etc etc etc. Erm dude
andy_bray Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 DUDE ........Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet..... LOL Nick...
andrew_field Posted January 25, 2006 Posted January 25, 2006 Well the garage are doing a good job in pi$$ing me off at the moment. "Well we think it is the head gasket but we have not had a look", Why not?, "Well we got a lot of cars in at the start of the week", but my car has been in for 10 days now, "Well we should be able to look at it by the end of the week". Suppose I will have to give garage owner a call tonight and tell him to give his service dept a kick up the ar$e.
