Didn't really do much last night Andi aside from reattaching the boost line to the boost controller so I can plumb it in to boost how I want it. Got to get to grips with the instructions first though - it's all talk about ratios & stuff. Car is going pretty well though aside from knackered cooler pump.

Well done Jimmy - good stuff mate! face-icon-small-smile.gif

<< And does anybody know who is the best on the island for HGV lessons...thanx chaps... face-icon-small-wink.gif >>

I've seen wagons with L plates pulling into the place next to that new Eden Park garden thing. The place where they sell christmas trees (not at the moment though, obviously...face-icon-small-wink.gif)

Or you could wait for a lorry to roll off the Ben My Chree, do a Fast and the Furious style wagon hijack, and then before you knock the driver out ask him where he took his lessons face-icon-small-happy.gifface-icon-small-happy.gif

Mornin dudes!! lol

Sweet Jimmy face-icon-small-smile.gif

Wont be long and you'll have it sorted Jim.

Just finished for the night, started stripping the car for inlet manifold off.

<< How come they had to meddle with the endtanks? >>

Inlet & outlet were to high, pipe work would have gone throught the middle of the light pods.

The core is not a hybrid one hence why it did'nt line up with hybrid pipework, but has better internals.

Uppipe lagged and EGT probe fitted.

In theory my next mod should work but might have to wait and see.

I have not come across anyone using the OEM water spray on a front mount, probably as it wont make a big difference, but every little helps.

And secondly because the spray jets leak as the tank is above the jets, thus gravity makes it leak.

So one IC spray tank.

16mm joint & pipe.

Pump & joint connected.

Fitted to IC spray tank.

By moving the pump to the front bumper and below the jets I hope to eliminate leakage, I don?t see why it shouldn?t work.

Can't wait to see yours all finished Dave!

Session last night Jimmy?

Got my water injector installed in the manifold last night and got the blits boost controller plumbed back in again.

Just need to remember where I left the water pump to get the rest of the kit installed, and get my new cooler pump on when it arrives and things SHOULD then be going pretty sweet! face-icon-small-happy.gif

Only session I had last night was a 1 hour stint stuck on a level on Fire Warrior for PS2!face-icon-small-mad.gif

Sounds like the car is coming together now Jim. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!face-icon-small-smile.gif

Morning mes amigos!

Sounds like the Scooby fraternity on the Island are busy with mods/repairs/rebuilds etc

Any cars fully healthy out there?!? face-icon-small-smile.gif

Busy night then Jimmy, mate! lol

How's everyone today?

All set for the weekend?

Yes mate, and not a good one too. Spent hours looking for the water injection pump, turned my place inside out, turned the mrs' place inside out and the car too and it's nowhere to be seen. face-icon-small-sad.gif

Don't know how on earth I can have lost a big heavy chunk of metal like that but I appear to have managed to somehow since fitting the second pair of ignition coils a few weeks back. It's taken months to fit the bloody injector and now I can't even use the damn thing as I've no pump to drive it with. face-icon-small-mad.gif

Mornin dudes.

Bummer Jim, can you not use an alternate pump? But then I assume it's a specific type, high pressure etc.

Picked up the heat shield1 this morning heat shield2.

But then found a few alterations where required.

Soaked the turbo bolts last night with WD40, did the trick as the hairdryer came off no prob.

The OEM uppipe came off as well, showing the oily results of the weeping rocker covers that will be sorted at TEG.

Downpipe had to come off to; again good soaking in WD40 saved a lot of hassle.

Next the inlet came off.

Found a split in the inlet pipe, which explains my lumpy idle of late due to leaking air.face-icon-small-disgusted.gif

Block ready for a degreasing session tomorrow. Got to make it shiny aint I.face-icon-small-blush.gif

The old inlet.

I was shocked at the amount of blow by oil in he manifold. more

But the catch can has eliminated that now.

Mornin dudes.

Gave the block a quick degrease.

Fitted headers back on with H&S slip jointed uppipe and then the turbo went back on.

And then it went pear shaped.face-icon-small-sad.gif

Could'nt get the inlet pipe to fit, almost refitted OEM inlet. But came up with a plan, just hope it works.

Manifold back on.

Manifold 2

The problematic inlet pipe
