Croft Trackday 25th May

Hi,

Im staying in the Glasgow area and was looking for any like minded peeps who would be up for a trip down to Croft for a trackday on the 25th May.

I was planning down on the 24th afternoon ish and overnight stay. Track day all next day and drive back up the road.

I havent booked my place yet so anyone interested could they pm me and we can orginise somthing.I could do with the moral support, tow, shoulder to cry on, spanners etc etc :thumbup:

I would deff be interested. Have never been to croft. Who is running the day?

If I wernt a jobless bum I might have been interested, would have had to get a bung made as well as i think my car would have been too loud as they have silly noise restrictions down there.

The track does look good though

I have the same problem as does scott i believe with noise levels , so i have sent off to some companies for an exhaust bung also.

ANyone any ideas?

Shame dude, think Scott (Gambler) and his m8 Johny are going to meet me in Dumfries. I was going to go to the one on the 5th of may but im offshore for that one also.

Any update drop me a line :) You could always drop a spanner somewhere and get an unplanned shutdown,de-man,evac etc etc....alll for the cause dude :D

Not since the last two track days cost me an engine and a gear box :D I have to can it for a bit till the missus chills out. I'll Be Back!!!!

Oops....Sorry to here it dude, the engine ,g/box and the misses :D Well im planning to do a track every second month so anyone going anywhere then give me a bell and you can all laugh at how slowly i drive :)

just tell her your comming to watch, she wont be any the wiser if your car suddenly manages to find its way onto the track :D:)

And she notices the bank about about £300 lighter! Where is this Croft place anyway?

About 3 hrs drive from Glasgow ish. Its south of Newcastle.

Plan is to go down on Sat the 24th afternoon ish meet up with Gambler and his M8 in Dumfries or on M74 and then hotel or B&B in Croft on tees(Couple of beers and socialising), track all day Sunday 0900-1730 then back up the road to Sunny Scotland.
