scooby princess Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 What do you think? Still not 100% but looks ok
monkip1 Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Dont care what anyone says i would buy it with all the bell and whistels of i had 30k spare, yes the "Rear" is what most people complain about but who cares no subaru has ever looked a stunner has it??? They are a car to be driven.
jon_hutton Posted March 15, 2008 Posted March 15, 2008 Had a test drive last week and was very impressed, excellent drive. All I would change is the standard 17" wheels and the rear lights.
Bailey73 Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 I like the interior.... ..but still not sure of the exterior. I will happily stay with my 53 STi.
petenofear Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 as bailey says the interior is very nice but the out side off the car is a no no for me i think it will end up like the bug eye arould for 18 mths and then gone
craigo Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 rather have a evo x lol lol get your eyes looked at ...........
rae_sti Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 lol lolget your eyes looked at ........... i have and just looks so much better
compo71 Posted March 16, 2008 Author Posted March 16, 2008 Looks like my brothers Alfa 156 veloce 2.5 thing! http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/pics//members...jpg?nocache=324
Scoobtastic Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 as Rae says, the Evo is stunning,i would of rather had one of those but on seeing and driving the new STi,well.....its toughie......both come from a very well proven back ground, all they need to do now is prove them where it matters ,most....WRC.......
edmondo Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 i have and just looks so much better SSSSHHHHHHHH Rae - I agree with you
scooby princess Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 i have and just looks so much better On my goodness - don't tell anyone but that is GEORGOUS!!!!!!!!! And in that colour its a mean machine..................quick ive lost it!
glam Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 Vroom vroom, the Evo actually looks fab *reaching for bar of soap to wash out my mouth!* Alfa 156 also looks a sleek customer (have a soft spot for Alfa's as long as I'm not paying the maintenance bills!) I got to drive this 159 the 3.2 V6 24v 260 bhp version a couple of weeks ago - I thoroughly enjoyed it!
edmondo Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 oh well, will not be selling mine anytime soon then. not with what you spent on it I bet
edmondo Posted March 17, 2008 Posted March 17, 2008 ok I know I am gonna regret asking this - But whats next - is it possible to have anything else done to it?
stinger Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 I got mine and i dont regret it, i only bought it after taking my sportwagon for a service and thought how much better they look in the flesh.. and to be perfectly blunt. didnt realise buying a Impreza had anything to do with looks
rae_sti Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 perhaps when the aftermarket guys bring out some replacment parts eg grill /back lights it will appeal a bit more , bit like the bugeye ,was awful to look at but with morrette conversion it looked so much better , each to there own ,couldnt spend that sort of cash on a car i didnt like the look of , as long as your happy thats what counts
