Colin, I think john (the welsho) had a set for sale, you could always do a quick search Craig.

mctwistuk Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 any feedback i have heard is good. Lots of folk have them fitted. They are a bit more aggressive looking than prodrive ones. Do a search for teins and welsho and you will see before and after pics
RS Grant Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 I've got Tein's fitted to my Spec D... I fitted 18's with Eagle F1's at the same time and there was an improvement in ride quality as the Bridgestone RE070 are really stiff. I went with Tein as I wanted the car to be slightly lower than the Prodrive Kit drops the car. I'll go try and dig out a couple of pics for you, before and after. Cheers, Grant
RS Grant Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 Before pic... although not on totally flat surface, gives you an idea... After pic... I'd never try and get to that wee grassy bit in the first pic with the Teins fitted!! Cheers, Grant
t3hWIT Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 I had bugeye springs on my classic. The general consensus (and I agree) is that the S-Techs are a good spring if you want a large amount of a drop, but complete trash if you actually want your car to handle. I just swapped out my S-Techs for P1 springs on Saturday. The S-Techs were so soft that I didn't even need a spring compressor to remove them, they could be compressed a bit by hand. The ride wasn't the best with the S-Techs, but the P1 springs have a rougher ride.
irn_bru Posted March 4, 2008 Author Posted March 4, 2008 (edited) Thanks for the replies guys!! Going to take a wee run over to Hypertech right now Colin. Car is booked into Hypertech for Monday Its started, how much can i get on my credit-card?? Edited March 4, 2008 by Irn_Bru
thewelsho Posted March 4, 2008 Posted March 4, 2008 (edited) Aye, the Teins are great. They offer a good balance between comfort and ride-quality. The reason I chose these over Prodrive was the fact that they made the car that bit lower. The lower the more aggressive looking, the more aggressive the better! RAAAARRRR Saw your car at Hypertech a few months back and YOU are partly responsible for the spreading of the bug!! Have you decided what graphics to go for? Colin.

Colin. LOL! Looking like the Monster Energy drink ones. I can't seem to find anything else that is suitable or that I like. I'll spend a bit more time on teh mock-up and see how it looks.
