If we were all motivated enough I'm sure we could put together a Scottish Scoobies Rally Team! Surely there's on decent driver among us.. A co-Driver and there's a handful of mechanics here.. Surely we could get a few "donations" in terms of parts in exchange for advertising. All we need is a road car and enter it as Group-N (I'd suggest a MY08 STi just to take the p***..!)

Well new camera was used and once I have software that I can actually use with it (CS3 doesnt like it) im sure it will be good. Loads of pics to work through but here are 4 random pics straight from the camera, please note nothing has been done to them, very mild crop, resize and levels so if they are cack sorry............ but I have a few crackers I hope to come

If there were any notion this was a bad idea getting up at 4 am, just outside Inverness the sunrise soon dispelled any notion of that.

aah, when photographers start comparing lens sizes you know its a downward slope.... :o

john got the roll on video too,and he was filming in car when we 'enthusiastically' met the northern constabularlys finest too :D

did the rest of you follow the struie back down to Alness? we hung about til they restarted and got the last few cars, though every time we packed up the cameras another appeared!

and howd the night on the brew go?

some quality photos there Al and Scott, off to browse the sites for a serious camera now :)

o and looks like another convert, john spent last night trawling the autotrader website for imprezas...

Some good pics there.

Not been on here since the weekend.

Had good day. Went to Stage 1, spectator access area. Didn't like the look of the official car park as field too boggy. Tried to park on the verge with all wheels well off the road but got moved on by an unpleasant marshal in a Pug 607, despite I was out the way of everyone. Parked further along which he seemed to he happy with and walked in. Decent enough spot. Couldn't believe the number of people drinking in the stage at 10.30 in the morning. Some people were absolutely trollied and staggering about! Dunno why you always get more of this on the Snowman than anywhere else.

Saw a good number though and went to stage 3. Returned to the car and found 5 cars parked where I was originally moved on from!

Staged 3 seemed a very long way north. Parked half way up the access road and avoided going further up where dozens upon dozens of cars had managed to get themselves double parked and completely blocked in.

Then headed to the end of stage 5. Lots of people pushing on, and plenty action at the deep ditch. Hats off to the marshals who managed to keep control of everyone. Never seen so many people out with the world championship!

Only got a point a click camera but will post pics if anything decent.

Adding pics as and when I can to my Flickr account, so feel free to have a browse at your leisure.

For all those attending the Snowman and taking pics at areas that you posted up you have been well and truly shamed for leaving a pile of litter at your ar$e at the event.

If you own up then fair play, if not then i will post the pics of the people who did it on Sunday night as one of my Rally friends witnessed them.

? :lol::D:P:D:lol:

Eh?

I'm sorry, but who did that, Are you sure that it was our guys? Dont sound like any of the guys that I know that would do that... And I think thats an overly aggressive post mate... :D

the only litter we left lying at our a*** was a blue evo :D

there was a group of idiots in front of us , about 17 and probably driving corsas who were drinking and smoking like it was still friday night but nothing to do with us. the only stuff we had with us was sevearal grands worth of camera gear between us,not something you leave lying behind. all of us from sidc conducted ourselves as the club would expect both on and off stage, as northern constabularlys blind eye shows :P

ive been at the snowman for the past 6 or 7 years as well as the jim clark and mcrae stages and work in the forests so treat them with utmost respect.be careful before you go making accusations, if in jest fair enough if not wel accept your apology- either way feel free to name and shame, weve nothing to hide(apart from richs b####y evo) :D
