Weird Noises For Me Too...

I have a weird noise coming from the back of the car, perhpaps to the near side. The sound is totally random and I cannot recreate it by going slow or fast, over bumps or level roads, it just comes and goes. If you imagine having a saucepan and holding it by the handle and dragging it along the ground, then this is how the noise sounds. Sometimes it is followed by a banging sound as though someone was beating the back of the saucepan with a dull object. All very wierd... any ideas?

As I say, it comes and goes, scraping and banging all very random.

Is there anyway I can check that? Is this a major problem; in other worrds ifI keep driving it (specially on the track) can it do a lot of damage?

thats whats the radio's for, go down ed-209's route and put in a massive stereo build, wont hear anything again
