RA Dunk Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 (edited) thought i would give it a wash DAMAGE!! Edited February 12, 2008 by Ac!D
Richie Cross Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Fine example of both car and scenery What caused the damage? Was thinking about a front splitter...mmm
RA Dunk Posted February 12, 2008 Author Posted February 12, 2008 (edited) What caused the damage?a pavement! pulled into a car park the other week to go to the bank, applied brakes as one does when he wants to stop and the car kept going due to ice, but soon stopped with thanks to the pavement Edited February 12, 2008 by Ac!D
thewelsho Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 a pavement! pulled into a car park the other week to go to the bank, applied brakes as one does when he wants to stop and the car kept going due to ice, but soon stopped with thanks to the pavement Car looks great, very nice indeed. I took advantage of the nice weather and the fact I had the day off too by removing my now totally trashed front splitter. Car doesn't look as good without it to be honest, but owning one is not worth the hassle IMO. So Ritchie, think on before wasting you cash on one! I did go for a little spurt of the back roads and took another wee test video, nothing worth posting though.
colzo Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Looking good as always Dunc , shame about the splitter though.
Big Gordon Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 Car looks stunning mate, i gave mine a good clean yesterday too, was a crackin' day. In the first couple of pics your car looks as though it has no doors Pavements are too high

StrikE Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 You missed a bit nice car m8, like the decals down the doors
RA Dunk Posted February 12, 2008 Author Posted February 12, 2008 (edited) Hows 'my' ECU working out Dunc ? lol, "your" ECU is doing just fine :P , the cars developed a bit of an idle problem when its ticking over when the engines cold the revs tend to be fluctuating quite a bit from around 8-900RPM down to 400 or so RPM, when its warmed up it seems to be ok? other than that little issue all is well and it seems ok, i cant really do much with the car as it is due to the headgasket issue, so i havent had a go at using launch control either as i dont want it to come on boost when trying to launch, the anti lag is my little toy just now though , once i get the headgasket fixed ill give you a better write up about it though i will be looking forward to seeing it in your "rather special" car though Edited February 12, 2008 by Ac!D
