gus the bus Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 (edited) A few peeps had been asking how project Leggy was coming along so, well since I got the legacy one or two mods have been made (plenty more still to do tho ) Wheels, tints, detango, tinted side repeaters, filter changed, Meercat system and "The Blue Dragon Treatment" Currently have boot spoiler with Stevie (Walker) for painting which ,will add a bit of shape to the rear end (the cars not mine ) Planning on Coilovers, rally flaps (possibly!) and ARB and links on my return from Canada. a few befores and afters Edited February 11, 2008 by Gus the Bus

craigdmcd Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Looking good Gus. Out of curiosity, does the car warrant a full set of coilovers or would a set of GT-B springs and shockers or a Prodrive spring set (Prodrive spring set) be more cost effective. As usual, a set of Whiteline ARB's and links perform wonders on these.
Dougie C Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Looking great indeed Gus not you but the Leggy Enjoy your holiday by the way in Canada Dougie C

But, the coilovers are leading in that they obviously include the full units hence dont have the hassle of leaking shockies in months to come. I know that whats on the now needs somerthing doing pretty soon. Regarding the ARB and links they are a DEFINATE as the rear ARB looks like 17mm or something like that and would deffo benefit from being replaced by a 22mm and whilst I'm at it a set of links. I'm presuming Whiteline do them for the Leggy!!!? Gus

Big Gordon Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Looking good already You don't hang about with the mods Gus
thewelsho Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Looking good already You don't hang about with the mods Gus Amazing what a set of wheels and some tints does for the look of a car. Looks good. Be better once its dropped too. As stated, aren't coilovers a rather harsh choice for a road car? Enjoy your trip to Canada. J
