thefastone Posted January 18, 2008 Posted January 18, 2008 I imagine that will much the case on the way down to Lanark for us, that's normally what ends up happening when were coming down en-masse for an event...
scouk Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Just a thought... what about making sure the local Shell stations (Lanark/Banbury/somewhere in the middle) have extra suppliy of V-Power for that weekend... Or better yet get a couple tankers to follow us...

Or better yet get a couple tankers to follow us... The Shell at Lanark has been notified and have informed me that they will order a fresh supply on the day before we arrive. Once we have identified the fuel stations we will be using en route then i will note thier contact numbers and notify them a couple of weeks in advance of numbers expected We have also sent an email to both Shell and Tesco, both suppliers of 99 RON fuel, to see if they can assist in any way in exchange for advertising on the cars, in the form of thier company logo, or on the mcrae-gathering website in the form of banner ad If you dont ask you dont get is the rule i am following on this one
scouk Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Good on ya mate! A lot of work going into this! I'd be happy to have a "Powered by V-power" logo on the car if it helps!
