higgy Posted January 6, 2008 Author Posted January 6, 2008 Is it buy a new turbo or just get the inards of that turbo changed I will send it away next week and let them stick a new impeller on it. The new o2 senser was dear enough so im hoping it will be around the £300 mark for a new one instaled and balanced. Higgy
colin_ross Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Oh dear. It's never nice when things like that happen but as least it was on the hot side, imagine what that could have done if drawn into the engine. Good excuse to upgrade though.
boris b Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 I'm not a major mechanical person but even i can see that it is not good... I hope you get it sorted at a decent price... Had a wee smile at the crimbo kitchen roll tho
