colin_ross Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 (edited) Anyone thinking of competing next year? Thinking about SSO, sounds like a laugh. http://www.scoobynet.com/scoobylive/ 25th of May. Scrict noise limits in force unless your car can do less than a 11.3. Edited March 8, 2008 by Playsatan2

WUZ Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 (edited) Colin....will we go down as Scottish Scoobies Glasgow? I see, now were going back to the "us" and "them" thing are we? I'll let Andy know that he's to go down as Scottish Scoobies Edinburgh then. Russell Edited December 31, 2007 by WUZ
frank c Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 ^^ LOL More like Scottish Scoobies East Coast Sounds like a good day out, I'll keep an eye on this.
scientific steve Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 went down to SSO this year and had a ferkin ace larf it was a bit damp though but just made it more interesting on the handling track it was also on the day after a track day at knockers, you would think that calsberg had a hand in that weekend am interested in the sso again likes, not sure if my scoob would be in contention for the totb i'll be under the Scottish Scoobies banner, no us and them
colin_ross Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 i'll be under the Scottish Scoobies banner, no us and them That's what I was thinking. It's not like it's a team event like TOTB anyway. There's some great Scottish cars just now and some that are in the pipeline and it seemed like a great opportunity to show of what we can do.
WUZ Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 i'll be under the Scottish Scoobies banner, no us and them GOOD MAN! Russell
RA Dunk Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 i'll be under the Scottish Scoobies banner, no us and them am gonna go as scottish scoobies AciD, yea i know its all me me me

Ok.....we will go down as Scottish Scoobies Supporters and i'm looking forward to giving the southerners a run for their money as we have a good few cars up here that can do the buisness.
fai17 Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 I see, now were going back to the "us" and "them" thing are we? I'll let Andy know that he's to go down as Scottish Scoobies Edinburgh then. Russell Just a bit of tongue and cheek Russ...will you project Godzuli be ready for the event? Plus Andy will probably go down as 22B anyways.
the squiggle Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Just a bit of tongue and cheek Russ...will you project Godzuli be ready for the event?Plus Andy will probably go down as 22B anyways. The Polar ice caps will melt before Godzuki sees the light if day
jimser Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 id be quite interested in this too.can anyone shed any light on how the categories work in scooby shootout.from what i can gather its 13.3 and above 12.3 and above 11.3 and above and the big daddy group. are you put in a certain group before it starts? jim
sma01 Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 should be worth a run down, with any luck i will have my car back on the road by then... when is SSO?? Scott
WUZ Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 The Polar ice caps will melt before Godzuki sees the light if day Not that I am really bothered what you think, but what exactly is your problem with the car I am building? Just curious as you seem to be happy to hand out your negative comments. I don't exactly work a 9-5 or have spare evenings and weekends all the time to build the car so it's done on an as-and-when basis. Playsatan - see you at SSO - the polar ice caps will have melted by then Russell

frank c Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 Have you got a sticky button Russell or are you just trying to put your point across lol (couldn't resist)
colin_ross Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 Playsatan - see you at SSO - the polar ice caps will have melted by then Russell Now we're talkin. Let's get a list of anyone thats up for it and then we'll have something to shoot for. Jimser, unless it's changing for this year you just pitch up and see what you can do. You fall into whatever category depending on your results. It means you don't need a mega motor to come away with a trophy. It's just for a giggle after all.
RA Dunk Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 is this the one thats the day after time attack at knockers?
frank c Posted December 31, 2007 Posted December 31, 2007 I'm up for it..............................spectating that is. Sounds like a great day out to me.

Playsatan - see you at SSO - the polar ice caps will have melted by then Russell Just you have the same plans afoot for a while Still waitng to see a late RA specced up to the gunnels, thats all Playsatan gets the same ribbing when i see him, Peter gets ribbed whenever we are down for tea about the Cadbury's 546.6 or whatever it was i wrote on it, Nanaki gets a ribbing for crashing it all the time, Jimser gets a ribbing for being generally nuts and not p***ing about Maybe i also attend SSO and turn the whoosh up on my HKS Stroked 2.2, RX-5 equipped with forged internals, uprated brakes, uprated cooling, uprated breathing, multiplate Cusco clutch, and non uprated driver. Oh yes thats right i also get a good Scottish slagging for not driving the bloody thing. reckon one or two more bits on the suspension front and i would give the handling circuit a damn good go General Scottish Banter my friend, thats all boss

TOTB, if picked for the team SSO, might well do this year, always clashes with another event, but what the Hey.. Interesting postcode Peter, more relevant would be CH3 80BHT With ya Fatboy Car ---john--- Edited December 31, 2007 by JohnSt
