4Hero Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 well, it could have been me as mine kinda looks white with all the salt on it, but mines is not a classic and I was nowhere near Speyside, sorry I hope you find the person you are looking for.

Well, you know in a cooperage with all them sparks flying it's possible L2_NRM's eyes were not registering colours accurately. The salt covering could in fact be enough in Winter's spa-rse light to trick the eye into seeing a white-ish car, that his brain/eye considered white. Particularly where street lighting is concerned. Coupled with the, all day, long shadows and (depending on the viewing angle) awkward reflections this time of year brings, may in fact sharpen up the edges of a predominantly round edged car causing the on-looker - L2_NRM in this case - to see more of a 'classic' shape than that which was on offer. It may also be that in a hurry to arrive at ones destination, 4hero, you could have taken a slight detour and perhaps passed by Speyside Cooperage. Is it not? Alternatively I may just be talking b0ll0cks. Have I had enough wine yet sir? You decide anyhoo! Steve. PS I had to add the dash in spa*** because spa*** seems to be a bad word. WTF???
l2 nrm Posted December 18, 2007 Author Posted December 18, 2007 it wasnt Neil(4Hero),his isnt a classic ,isnt white ,and probably isnt dirty either. when did i say it was his?
nippysweeties Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 when did i say it was his? This might answer your question: http://forums.sidc.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=109188 If not, then I'm sorry for hijacking your post! Steve.

WTF??? you have a point there Steve. I mean, if L2 was driving at the time of the aforementioned spotting, he could easily have mistaken a newage for a classic. He sees a scoop, a big spoiler, "oops, there's a kitten running onto the road", now was that a classic or newage.. If you calculate the amount of newages and classics on the road: you should end up with this graph: He could have easily came to the conclusion that it was a classic. That's exactly what I was thinking Steve.

That had me in stitches.lol
scouk Posted December 19, 2007 Posted December 19, 2007 if L2 was driving at the time of the aforementioned spotting Ahh see.. there's a flaw in your logic right there. L2 mentioned the spotted car drove past his work while his car was in the carpark so wasn't wasn't driving at the time. my car was sitting in the car park looking sorry for itself all dirty fecking weather But nothing a little quantum weighting to your formulae couldn't fix.. . o O (Geez! too early in the morning for this...)
thewelsho Posted December 20, 2007 Posted December 20, 2007 Spa-rse was filtered out becasue it contains the word ar5e as in bum!
