4Hero Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Some great shots there John! I'll just tag on here as well if that's ok, no point in starting another thread I was at Knockhill in the morning as well, so you may not recognise some cars.. yum yum There are some more on my Flickr account, and larger versions too (just click on the "all sizes" above the photo. If anyone would like larger versions of their car just ask and I'll send them to you. A good day all round, and met a few new SIDC'ers too! Cheers, Neil
paul555sti Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Good pics! Neil, cracking picture of the forth rail bridge.
spooks Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Great Pics guys, was getting used to my new lens so not overly good pics from me. Great to see the SIPC ( Subaru Impreza Photographic Club) though
michael_sciberras Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 (edited) Excellent pic Neil, think that one will be getting framed That was my wife Lynda who was taking part in the morning for her first trackday. She was doing really well building up confendece lap after lap with the odd controlled drift . Near the end i went to sign on for the SIDC afternoon and she went out for one final play going faster and faster into Duffius, and then the rain came I was standing in the pit lane watching her going into duffius and then the red flag went out, it was one of those ones where you just knew it had to be her The bolts holding up the mat against the tyres left a nice score most the way along the side just below the bump strip, hoping most of it will T-Cut out! Will need to get her back out soon as she really enjoyed it up to that point Anyone got any pics of my car from the afternoon p.s. Big thanks to john for a great day Edited November 25, 2007 by scib4
robertnes Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 I've uploaded some of my pics that came out OK (hundreds didn't!) here:http://www.flickr.com/photos/johnsidc/sets...57603291379889/ John Had an excellent day John! Some really nice photos there. You managed to snap the the smoking Evo i see. I ended up giving those lads a lift back to Aberdeen. The owner was heading back down today with a trailor, felt gutted for him!
johns Posted November 25, 2007 Author Posted November 25, 2007 Great photos Neil - I was struggling with either glare from the sun or using high ISOs due to lack of light. I've uploaded a few more of mine now that came out OKish. John
4Hero Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Anyone got any pics of my car from the afternoon I uploaded the bump again, this time the full size original. I only had a couple that turned out, as John said, the light was crap Clicky for full size versions, not the bext photos in the world, but they are free Cheers, Neil.
dark Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Hi John, Another great day as usual! The weather was even kind for November! Did anyone get any photos of the Masserati Spyder which I can forward to Angus? It was his first time on track and he had a ball! Cheers, Mark
johns Posted November 25, 2007 Author Posted November 25, 2007 Hi Mark, was good to see you on track again after such a long absence. Car seemed to be going very well also with the recent mods I think I've only got one photo of the Maserati that came out clear enough to identify the car!. I'll upload it shortly. I mentioned to Neil and Spooks that I just couldn't get a decent photo of it, but I believe Spooks got a nice sharp one John
mrtoad Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Some very good photo's there guys, well done, wish I had been there

ScoobySounds Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Nice pics there chaps! Ye it was a great day, I didn't get to meet as many subaru owners as I wanted to - Met Neil and then got chatting to the porsche guys and got some pax laps in gordons gt3 RS and gregs turbo ow yeah.. that RS is unvelievable!! ..lapped everything on the track after only 5 or 6 laps. great fun! everyone seemed to disappear pretty sharpish after, my car was the only one in the carpark at 4pm when I got back. it was completely freezing though so i'm not surprised really.
spooks Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 (edited) John and Mark my pics were pretty poor all day, composition was cack and was really trying to get the knack o the lens so the Masser pics were not as good as I first thought.....also I have an annoying habit of chopping the car in pieces LOL Pics I got are here Spooks Edited November 25, 2007 by Spooks
spooks Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 (edited) Some more o my (poor) efforts. Edited November 25, 2007 by Spooks
