Cret Posted January 28, 2004 Posted January 28, 2004 Maybe without the refrigerant in it to compress there's not really any resistance on it. I'd have thought that bypassing it would make more sense but I know nothing about these things really!
Kristan Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 Ideally I think you'd want to take it out for the weight saving and put a shorter belt on to bypass the compressor - one of my friends did similar in his FTO for the extra power & weight loss. Dunno if it made a difference or not though!
