scoobaroo Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 Not too impressed with the Lambo, not much in it apart from the supercar growl when I pulled along side him, his little pops were drowned out by my big bangs and flames courtesy of a certain Mr F. I know who got the best bang for their bucks Marty. p.s. the sountrack was awesome when I pulled up at the services

RS Grant Posted November 6, 2007 Posted November 6, 2007 .....as everyone else is sharing, then I'll let you know that the lad in the White 57-Plate V8 engined M3 wasn't a fan when my 'WRX look-a-like' pulled past him. Didn't get a wave back after, but did get a wee smile from his female passenger which was nice. Cheers, Grant

st3ph3n Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Nobles are good fun. Standing start and he wasn't happy. At crail obviously Anyone got any good tales from the other side of the coin though? There's an EK9 Civic round the Hamilton area that is packing more punch than first appears. A solid stance and some nice wheels are the only giveaway that it's tweaked as there's a standard backbox on it. Not saying it's connected to the exhuast mind you!
andrew_forrest Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Anyone got any good tales from the other side of the coin though? I got well cuffed by a Civic at Santa Pod last year. In my defence I did break a rear driveshaft on the start line and ran the remaining distance with only FWD It does however prove that a Civic is a better FWD car than a Scoob

Do you think we could install a EJ25 into a Bedford rascal?

Now thats something i`d pay to see Stephen !! You shoehorned into a EJ25-Rascal with the crash helmet and the big red racing boots on, at Knockhill Marty.
gus the bus Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 Do you think we could install a EJ25 into a Bedford rascal? Thats my next project
st3ph3n Posted November 7, 2007 Posted November 7, 2007 The Plan was always a Rascal with a mid mounted built yank block. LS7 or similar. Blown obviously - with the side panels or roof modified for air collection duties. Then hook up the rear wheels to some sort of very modified heavy duty rear axle and a 4 speed box (no need for more with the torque eh?) and whack some wheels with drag radials on the back. But the idea of a EJ25 and the scooby rumble sounds good. OH! I forgot the purpose, and one extra component that might be needed. Wheelies! How funny would it be sitting on the motorway doing a wheel stand in a bedford rascal! Might need a wheelie bar though. One day ..............
