I'm no expert on these car's mate but i'm sure if you have replaced all the cat's including the downpipe from the turbo you will require a remap.

what sort of air filter are you running? mine (99my classic) does this mostly when cold, and gentle throttle is worse, but is there all the time. as you've already done the usual suspects, MAF and Lambda, I would like to know too.

I just put it down to a.... feature... quirk....

hope you find the answer soon. nothing worse than a niggle.

You know Ive just noticed my car doing this, just after I had it serviced... and I'm getting exactly the same thing as you are describing, although ive not had any mods done on the power at all yet...

not saying that it wasn't doing it before, but ive only just noticed it really... again worse when its cold...

well m8 only 2 things maybe the cause of your problem after your service the gap on the sparkplugs is wrong or who ever done your oil change never filled the new oil filter before putting it on and turning the engine over before starting it thats a few main reasons for the hesitation regards scoobzie

Difficult to say if running around with a decat will be bad or not. After my decat and before my remap i was advised by a Andy to take it easy till my remap.

Id stay on the safe side and get it on the rolling road to see what the fueling is up to.

some cars id think would be leaner than others.

Stay safe!

Cheers

I am by no means the man to talk to when it comes to troubleshooting car issues, however, the implications in your post seem to narrow it down to one of two things: the lambda sensor and the decat. If you disconnect the sensor you are effectively by-passing the systems ability to monitor exhaust gases, hence the reason the car runs ok without it. Therefore, it would then seem that there is an fuel mixture problem, so what could be causing that? Well, you decatted the thing didn't you, and that changes the exhaust gases and the problem started after you decatted. It seems to me that must be the decat! Or is that too simple. Put your cat back on, reconnect the lambda sensor and if it goes ok, you know 100% that its the decat.
