Power Junkie Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Hi Guys, I will be getting my wheels Powder coated soon but cant decide on what colour to go for, I like the anthracite but maybe a little darker or to match the car colour?? Your input would be very welcome. Mark
~ ~ Cal ~~ Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Finesse Coating ( Aberdeen) do a nice "silver sparkle" ( dunno actual powder code but thast is what they call it) that looks nice with out being in your face. I think you're better off with a colour that contrasts against the body work - just my 2p CGS
Power Junkie Posted October 17, 2007 Author Posted October 17, 2007 I was thinking PPS didnt know about Finesse Coating, any idea of the prices?
markymark Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I was thinking PPS didnt know about Finesse Coating, any idea of the prices? Gold is the way to go
Power Junkie Posted October 17, 2007 Author Posted October 17, 2007 I am thinking still dark, but black? or anthracite? or other not too bright colour
the blue dragon Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 keep them as is mate they look spot on
johnnyr6 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Don't do white m8, the dark colour seems to suit your car, a bit darker would look mean. Johnny

dan_jess Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Looks perfect the way it is. Maybe your just bored with the look of it and fancy a change, any other wheels you like?
oobster Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 - looks very nice the way it is. Only one small suggestion though, which I don't think would be possible - but here goes. What about the spokes and centre painted the same as is, but the lip polished?
Power Junkie Posted October 17, 2007 Author Posted October 17, 2007 They look a bit tatty at the mo and really need sorting out, I think maybe a bit darker would be what im after
Jono5 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Hey Dude. I just took my mate out to pick up his alloys from Keith at Pps, they made a really good job... Look brand new. They only charge £40 a wheel too.

That's what I have on my ones now... the edge is a shiney silver and the rest anthracite (see the revolution demo car to see pics of them).

iain01 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 think the car looks stunning. wouldn't change colour of alloys as they set the car off nicely!

thewelsho Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 keep them as is mate they look spot on Agree with this, they look well cool. If you must change, I'd suggest black, something that compliments teh body work. Nice looking car though.
Power Junkie Posted October 18, 2007 Author Posted October 18, 2007 stick with the colour you got now man Thanks everyone, Looks like my mind is now made up, Go for the same colour (maybe a shade darker) Do you just need to give Pps the rims or can you give them with the tyre still on??
colzo Posted October 18, 2007 Posted October 18, 2007 I am thinking still dark, but black? or anthracite? or other not too bright colour Anthracite I think, nice car you`ve got there mate.
