After moaning none stop about geting rid of my old subaru for a evo, im back in a black 2006 hawkeye sti 2.5 and i cant wipe the smile of my face! I want to get a new exhaust i was thinking about a full de-cat from Mercat, would i need to change the fuel pump as well,i will change the plugs to the colder ones grade 7 i think (does any one have the part no for the ngk ones for a 2.5 and are these any good?)It has a k&n typhoon induction kit,Should i leave this on or fit the airbox and put a panel fillter in. also a A/forrest re-map, some defi gauges, front splliter mud flaps and poss lower it.The car has ment to be chiped by a company called www.powerchipit.com i have paper work for this but the guy i bought it from doesnt no much about it he just asked for the car to be chiped and he got a certificate of installation thats it so im unsure if its chiped or re mapped mabey neither.also the car is a Euro import in case that makes any diffrence to any of the answers or advice yous give me thanks Sean

The domain Powerchipit.com was recently returned back to the pool, so I assume the business went out of business.

Never been a fan of chipping cars. Unless you've done exactly the mods the chip was designed for then it's a lottery.

Euro car makes no difference too.

Ahhh, so you decided against the JDM, hope you made the right choice! :D

I personally feel that the best are the JDM cars but with the newest Hawkeyes it's a different story.......you've got neary the same car as a JDM but with a more potential engine as the UK 2.5L will give loads mors torque and power with the correct drop in pistons and turbo.

Think about it...why did AndyF drop in a 2.5L with piston and MD turbo..it's because of the easy power for not alot of cost.

I would have a second thought now of buying a JDM hawkeye now as i will be modding it anyway!

Welldone Seano..it won't be long till you get your Meercat exhaust and remap by AndyF now......do you need a lift back from Meercar on saturday?
