Speedy Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 Ive just traded in my 05 impreza 300 for one of the last 57 impreza STi cars available theres so much i want to do to it but dont know where to start. Should i go for the Prodrive kit for it? Or even the WRC body kit? Do the WRC graphics look good or not? Im unsure (Ive heard that the paint fades). Please give me some ideas. This is a blank canvas so get creating folks.

I got these done to be different, or to have my Impreza stand out from the crowd, as it is however, tons of people have them, so I will be looking to remove/change in due course. Fading occurs only with the Day-Glo vinyl, so avoid that like the plague. Also, the Day-Glo glue is stronger than regular vinyl and has been know to lift the laquer! I have been advised to use a special removal fluid. HTH!

Speedy Posted September 4, 2007 Author Posted September 4, 2007 Cool Any ideas where i can get the kit fitted? Thanks welsho but ive just bought this one on Saturday there. Thanks for the replys so far guy much appreciated.
craigwrx Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 (edited) WRC graphics look great imo ..not that I would put them on my P1, but on a Newage YES ! - Use yellow rather than Day-Glo. WRC body - Again very nice ... Prodrive kit - Had it on my old WRX300, this car came with it already fitted (limited edition) I went up against Stephen (on the forum) three times at Crail, it was so so close on every run ...All stephen had done to his car at the time was a full de-cat and remap (fairly sure?) - cost would have been a lot less than what you will pay for the Prodrive kit, (and I might add, sound a lot better!) so on that note I can not really recommend it. st3ph3n Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 Not even full decat or the remap Craig - just 3rd cat delete, deres centre and a backbox. You were carrying Jimser at the time too though

colzo Posted September 4, 2007 Posted September 4, 2007 18 wheels, front splitter and mesh grill as far as cosmetic appearance goes. PPP if you you want to keep your warranty. Graphics can only be your choice as you have to live with the car on a day to day basis. Only my opinions but mate. Enjoy whatever you do mate.
frank c Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 Speedy said: Any ideas on I.C.E? Aye , remove it. Too much weight lol. Most people replace the standard speakers as they are pish. I went for Infinity ones and they sound good and not too expensive. PPP is a good option if you want to keep your warranty. Prodrive springs seem popular too along with some Whiteline handling goodies. As for brakes, most folk usually start upgrading to better pads, braided hoses and some Dot 5.1.
oletam Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 (edited) I bought a 56 WRX and had PPP fitted. Now changing to uprated turbo VF34, decat downpipe and last but not least AndyF remap. See Welsho's earlier item with the BHP/Torque graphs. Edited September 24, 2007 by oletam
big den Posted September 24, 2007 Posted September 24, 2007 I got my latest Scoob in June MY07 STI and put the WRC graphics on it. Only other change is a TSL Group N back box & de-resonated centre section to make sure the Scoob burble is there. Not got fed-up of the graphics yet but did take John's (The Welsho) advice and did not go for the dayglo graphics just normal yellow. Den
Speedy Posted October 3, 2007 Author Posted October 3, 2007 Any ideas where in the UK I can get the rally kit? Wide arches, wine rack and so on?
