Thinking About A Change...

I am thinking about selling my wagon and getting a classic but having never owned one i am unsure of what things to look out for. I am looking to spend about seven grand. The car itself will be purely for weekend use as i will get a cheap run around to use for going to work. I have been looking on pistonheads and autotrader to get a few ideas but there are so many different versions. I need some tips on what to look out for and which models are the most reliable. I would be quite happy with an import and dont mind the close gear ratios that come with some models as it wont be going on any long motorway runs.

it is a good time for buying at the moment as there is plenty of scoobs for sale, over 600 on pistonheads!!

good luck , 7k should get you something decent.

Gus i will have to sell the wagon first but i could be interested. If you bring it along to the central meet i will get a look as i havent seen it and i will find out what you are after for it. I may even be able to buy it before the wagons goes if we come to an agreement on the price. Pm me some pictures please or a link to some.
